At Cats & Dogs, we are committed to making our webshop accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to minimize digital barriers so that everyone can use our products and services.

Conformance status

Our webshop aims to comply with international digital accessibility guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.1 Level AA.

At present, the website is partially compliant with these accessibility standards.
This means that many parts of the site are accessible, but some features and content can still be improved to achieve full compliance.

What is accessible and what is not?

• Main navigation works with a keyboard
• Text is generally easy to read
• Contrast between text and background largely meets guidelines

⚠️ Known areas for improvement

• Some images are missing complete alt text
• Product filters are not always fully usable with screen readers
• PDF documents are not always accessible

These limitations are included in our improvement plan.

How we tested

We used a combination of automated tools, visual testing, and manual checks to verify which parts comply with accessibility guidelines. This helps us identify where improvements are needed.
